"I am a new homeowner with little to no knowledge of maintaining and renovating my pool. So I researched around and asked four different pool plastering companies to give me their professional opinion along with a quote, Of the four bids I got, Lee from Diamond-Cut gave me the most reasonable quote. But the main reason I went with Lee from Diamond Cut wasn't because of the cost, it was because of honesty.

From the very beginning, Lee gave me his most honest opinion. He didn't try to sell me extra things I didn't need. He educated me on different options, and was very patient with all my questions and concerns throughout the process. He helped me with the pool deck, pool coping, replastering, new plumbing, new pool sweep robot, and new pool light. I really owe it to him and Jim for all the knowledge they have taught me for the past few months.

Let's be real. There were some miscommunications and delays, but it was perfectly understandable because we are in this pandemic era. Everyone who has a pool wants to upgrade, and others who have the space in their backyard want to build a pool because they can't go anywhere else. Every pool plastering company is probably overworked with so many demands from skyrocketing customers, so if Lee or Jim doesn't return your phone calls right away, let's be understanding because they also have dozens of other customers who are probably calling them. But they always returned my calls and texts eventually, they have never left me hanging for more than 2 days, this is a testament to their customer service and professionalism.

One last anecdote I would like to share with all of you. Even after I have fully paid for all the jobs they have done, I noticed some minor fixes around the pool and called Lee about my concerns. Within a week, he sent his entrusted guy Ubaldo to come clean it up and fix the issues. Diamond-Cut has earned my trust with their supreme honesty and reliability. I just hope Lee and Jim can get some rest and spend some quality time at home. They really do travel everywhere in the greater bay area to take care of every customer's needs. Look no further than Diamond Cut if you are looking for a honest and genuine company to work on your pool."

"I only requested estimates for my pool repair/re plastering from two companies. I felt the first company rep was a

bit of a braggart and his price was ridiculous.
One of Diamond Cut Pool Plastering principles gave me my second quote and it was close to 10K less than the previous one and Jim was a nice guy and seemed honest and forthright. He gave me my quote on a work sheet on the spot and explained the options. Cost was a huge factor but so was quality and I felt Jim was going to deliver on both. I wasn't wrong. The quote came in just before the Covid lock down occurred. They were able to get the demo done but then we had to wait till the State and County eased restrictions

for them to be able to finish the job.
 

Finally the job was completed. Because we opted

for Quartzscape instead of standard plaster the start up was tricky and even with the help of my pool service company performing the start up, the process required a fair amount of back and forth between Jim and Lee making sure we did it right. I also had question about how the end product would look as the new quartz finish was initially about

10 shades darker than we expected.
In the end both Jim and Lee really took care of us and answered all of our question! The pool came out beautifully and color is now exactly what we wanted and hoped for.
